Jock Troup was a cooper (barrel maker) from a small village in far northern Scotland. Troup was a giant of a man with huge hands and 16-inch biceps, and his formidable physical presence was matched by his passion for reaching the lost with the gospel message, a trait that earned him the nickname, ‘the revival man.’ Troup played a major role in what became known as the Fishermen’s Revival, a movement of God that swept through the economically depressed fishing ports of Scotland and England during the early 1920s. This documentary traces Troup’s life and the history of the revival, featuring interviews with noted Bible scholars, historians, and eyewitnesses who provide much needed perspective on revival for the Church today.

When we were watching this documentary and the Welsh Revival, we actually felt a shift in the atmosphere and started prophesying. Never heard of this person before but glad we did.
