Let’s look at scripture because we agree that this is the only measuring stick. Is Yeshua contradicting what was said earlier in scripture as both Elijah or Enoch ascend to Heaven in a physical body. Obviously not.

Could Yeshua be meaning that no one can talk about things they don’t know about? Correct, they can’t talk about Heaven unless they have seen it, it is not that no one has seen things in Heaven or been to Heaven. For example; Moses has seen heavenly things but didn’t necessarily go to Heaven (Heb. 8:5 – Same with Ezekiel etc.).

Also, both Enoch and Elijah went to Heaven but didn’t come down to tell what they saw. This is the context. Yeshua said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man HAS ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven (John 3:11-13).” Perfect interpretation is when all scripture is in harmony and nothing is in tension. If it is in tension then it is not good interpretation. I believe this might be what Rob was meaning.

We also know from scripture that this statement from Yeshua was before His resurrection. This was not a command, like “No one will ascend to Heaven and come down”, but more of a reflection that no one HAS gone to Heaven and come down to tell. We also know from scripture that after His resurrection, people did go to Heaven and did return to tell. We could say 20-25% of the New Testament writers went to Heaven and came back to tell (2/8-9) – Paul (or someone he knew 2 Cor. 12:1-4) and John (Rev. 4:1-2) who ascended to Heaven. Also, the whole book of Revelation is about what John saw and some of it was from Heaven.

You are loved by God, there isn’t another like you, God needs you here on earth for a purpose, this is not a coincidence. Did you know that Yeshua actually prayed to His Father not to take them out of the world (John 17:15). Yeshua needs you here, there is a purpose for you. If it is healing you need, Yeshua is the one who heals. If it is finances you need, Yeshua is the one who provides. If you are lonely, Yeshua is closer than the air you breathe, literally.

Therefore in the Name of Yeshua, a group of people who are praying for you.

Surah 2:190-192: “And fight in the cause of Allah with those who fight with you, and do not exceed the limits, surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits. And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from where they drove you out and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah) until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the reward of the unbelievers. But if they desist, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. And fight with them until there is no persecution, and religion should be only for Allah, but if they desist, then there should be no hostility except against the oppressors.”
Surah 9:5: “But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.”

Surah 9:29 “Fight those who believe not in Allah, nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book (Jews), until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued,”
Even hating Christians and Jewish is in the Quran (Surah 5:14, 5:51) read the context of Surah 5. Quran Surah 5:14 “And with those who say, We are Christians, We made a covenant, but they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of, therefore We excited among them enmity and hatred to the day of resurrection; and Allah will inform them of what they did.” Then in 51 it says those who are friends with Christians or Jews are enemies of Allah Quran Surah 5:51. “O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.”

There are many other references but this is something you can look up –in summary Muslims having hatred towards Christians and Jews is justified if it is in the Qur’an. They say there is one God and this is true, but the character of the God Mohammed is representing is not the Father of Jesus Christ but Satan himself.”

Jesus’s promise to stay with his followers, fulfilled in the sending of the Holy Spirit, illuminated the development of Christian worship from early times. So Christians regard worship as something that they don’t only do for God, but that God, through Jesus’s example and the presence of the Holy Spirit is also at work in.

Church services (which is more than a building) has various agenda’s. Types of service will include hymns, readings and prayers and sometime partaking of the Lord’s Supper. The preacher will speak at length to expound a biblical text and bring out its relevance to those present. Different churches, even within the same denomination, will use very different styles of worship. Some will be elaborate, with a choir singing difficult music, others will hand the music over to the congregation, who sing simpler hymns or worship songs.
